Noogee Park to Start Inglis Classic in Style

Jilly Henderson’s Noogee Park is renowned for producing Champion HK Sprinter Beat the Clock and have a top class draft for Inglis Classic featuring two siblings to Group winning sprinters and the ONLY colt in the sale by The Autumn Sun.

Beat the Clock is not the only Group I winner to emerge from the paddocks at Noogee Park with other success stories including Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign and her Group II Silver Slipper winning brother Time to Reign as well as Group I winner Samadoubt.

Noogee Park have the honour of offering the very first yearling at the 2022 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale at Riverside Stables this Sunday.

Lot 1.

One of only two fillies in the sale by promising young sire Menari, Lot 1 is sure to get the sale off to a flying start and is the second foal of winning Medaglia D’Oro (USA) mare La Chatte, a daughter of stakes-winner Chinchilla.

The Noogee Park draft also features siblings to a pair of smart Group winning sprinters in Dig Deep and Deprive.

Full sister to Group II WATC Karrakatta Plate winner Dig Deep. From a winning half-sister to Group III winner Estelle Collection, the dam of Australian Horse of the Year and five time Group I winner Lankan Rupee.

Half-brother to multiple Group III winner Deprive, who has won just shy of $1million in prizemoney. His dam Defrock has a great record with five to race all winners and she is a full sister to Group III winner Blackball.

The remaining three yearlings in the draft are two fillies by Arrowfield Stud’s leading young sire Maurice (Jpn) and one by their champion first season sire The Autumn Sun.
