454 lots from leading breeders across the country, including the cream of the South Australian crop, will go under the hammer at the Morphettville based auction over two days on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 March. For the first time the sale features Book One yearlings only.
G1 Epsom Handicap winner Private eye was bought from MM Adelaide for $62,500.

A feature of the sale is the great variety of quality stock on offer and its appeal to a broad market highlighted this March by a catalogue comprising 249 BOBS eligible, 177 Super VOBIS nominated and 141 Racing Rewards SA (formerly SABOIS) eligible youngsters.

All yearlings will be eligible to be paid up for the Magic Millions Race Series, now boasting over $14 million of races each year, including $320,000 in exclusive races run at Murray Bridge.

This year no fewer than 107 individual sires are represented, including the first Australian crops of 17 exciting freshman stallions. Well represented sires including Capitalist, So You Think, Harry Angel, Written Tycoon, Shamus Award, Snitzel, Deep Field, Fastnet Rock, Dundeel, Toronado, Russian Revolution, Zoustar, Trapeze Artist and Written By will feature along with youngsters by the likes of Savabeel, The Autumn Sun, Justify and Eduardo's sire Host.

The Adelaide Sales build up will feature the Magic Millions SA Raceday at Murray Bridge on Saturday 5 March.

The day, which is highlighted by the running of the state’s richest juvenile race, the $200,000 Magic Millions SA 2YO Classic and the inaugural $120,000 Magic Millions 3YO & 4YO Classic, will also feature up to $90,000 in sale credit vouchers. In conjunction with Racing SA, to support the reinvigorated Racing Rewards SA scheme, a $10,000 sale voucher will be awarded to the first Racing Rewards qualified runner home in each of the nine races to spend on a Racing Rewards SA nominated yearling at the 2022 Adelaide Yearling Sale.
