2022 Inglis Premier Now Online

The catalogue for the 2022 Premier Yearling Sale – the auction that has recently produced the World’s Best Sprinter in Nature Strip and his heir apparent Masked Crusader, young stallions in Ole Kirk and Written By, ageless warriors like Santa Ana Lane, Beat The Clock, Gytrash and Hey Doc and fabulous fillies such as September Run, Kenedna and Youngstar – is NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE.

A total of 793 yearlings have been catalogued for the Oaklands sale which will be held over the three days of February 27 and 28 and March 1.

The sale will see the progeny of 121 sires represented including I Am Invincible, Snitzel, Fastnet Rock, Exceed And Excel, Written Tycoon, Zoustar, Capitalist, Extreme Choice, Lonhro, Shamus Award, So You Think, Pierro, Savabeel, Street Boss, Toronado, Per Incanto, Sacred Falls, Spirit Of Boom, Brazen Beau, Deep Field, Dundeel, More Than Ready, Ocean Park, Tavistock etc.

There are also international stallions Kingman, Medaglia d’Oro, Lord Kanaloa and Camelot represented, as well as the progeny of 16 First Season Sires including the likes of Justify, The Autumn Sun, Trapeze Artist, Written By, Saxon Warrior, U S Navy Flag, Brave Smash, Grunt, Harry Angel, Lean Mean Machine, National Defense, Bolt d’Oro, Encryption, Showtime, Sioux Nation etc. The yearlings will be presented by 75 of the best vendors from Australia and New Zealand.

Of the overall catalogue, 425 are Super VOBIS nominated.

The Premier Sale has been a constant source of star racehorses for buyers over a long period, from the likes of Sacred Kingdom, Starspangledbanner and Black Caviar, but it’s been in more recent years that its reputation for quality graduates has developed even further.

Premier graduates have also won 20 of Australia’s Open $1m+ races since 2019, more than any other individual sale in the Southern Hemisphere.

The sale has produced 19 G1-winning graduates since 2018, 11 of whom could have been purchased for $100,000 or less including Gytrash, Santa Ana Lane, Beat The Clock, Kenedna, Seabrook, Hey Doc, Spright, Lunar Fox etc.
