The buying partnership of Rosemont-Victorian Alliance/Suman Hedge Bloodstock (FBAA)/David Redvers Bloodstock struck earlier in this sale to purchase a $1.3million Zoustar colt from Pirapala and they now have a matched pair of colts by the champion son of Northern Meteor.

Bred by Widden Stud in partnership, the colt is the second foal of Group II MRC Angus Armanasco Stakes winner Summer Sham, a Not a Single Doubt mare that traces in tail female line to blue hen Shantha’s Choice, dam of Group I winners Redoute’s Choice, Manhattan Rain and
Platinum Scissors and grand-dam of Group I winner Shoals.

Summer Sham was bought from the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2019 for $650,000 by David Redvers and has a Zoustar filly to follow and is back in foal to him again.

The Victorian Stallion Alliance have already tasted success this season with $1million Zoustar colt Brereton, winner of the Group III VRC Maribyrnong Plate and will be hoping these colts can follow suit.
