Big Pedigree Update on it's Way

Mark Smith - Thursday January 13

Segenhoe Stud’s much-admired I Am Invincible filly out of Villa Carlotta, due to sell at the Magic Millions on Friday, may have a major update in the not-too-distant future.

Villa Carlotta’s half-sister In Italian spaced a field of fillies and mares by upwards of four and a quarter lengths at Tampa Bay Downs on Tuesday to advance her record to two wins and a second from three starts.

Bred by John Camilleri’s Fairway Thoroughbreds, the 4yo daughter of Dubawi was a 475,000gns purchase by Mike Ryan on behalf of Peter Brant at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.

Her Group III winning dam Florentina (Redoute’s Choice) has made her presence felt in sales rings around the word.

Tom Magnier went to $1.8 million to secure her Kingman colt at last year’s Magic Millions.
