Another Promising American Pharoah Winner

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 12

A homebred for Gooree Stud, three year-old American Pharoah (USA) filly Decisive Move opened her account at Warwick Farm on Wednesday with an all the way win.

Prepared by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Decisive Move improved on a close last start second to score a three quarter length win in the 1400m maiden beating promising first starter Chenin, a full sister to Pierro’s dual Group I winner Shadow Hero.

Decisive Move led all the way and was too strong on the line with stable representative Neil Paine declaring there was more improvement to come from the filly.

Decisive Move is a half-sister to Group II placed Major Conquest and stakes-placed Kinagat being the sixth winner from Group III winning Rock of Gibraltar (IRE) mare Gamble on Me.

American Pharoah has had three winners in the past two days.

Decisive Move is the third winner in the past two days for American Pharoah, who has a dozen yearlings to be offered this week at Magic Millions.
