From Cups contenders to Slipper hopefuls, Mill Park Stud in South Australia is a thoroughbred nursery that consistently delivers results at the highest level and their exciting draft of eight for Magic Millions 2022 holds the promise of more success to come.

Owned and run by the Watson family, Mill Park Stud is geographically blessed covering 10,000 acres of undulating limestone-based landscape, providing a unique environment for raising tough thoroughbreds that can withstand the rigours of training.

The vast paddocks and organic approach to the breeding and raising of young thoroughbreds has produced more stellar results in 2021.

Mill Park bred and sold Away Game is a Magic Millions fairtyale!

2021 has been another year of success for Mill Park raised horses and started with a bang last January on Magic Millions day when flagship performer Away Game ran a brave third in the $2million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas on the back of her win 12 months earlier in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

A $425,000 purchase for Kerri Radcliffe Bloodstock, the daughter of Snitzel has been an outstanding investment for her all women ownership group winning $3.4million in prizemoney and scoring multiple Group race wins as well as a second in the Group I ATC Golden Slipper.

A fast finishing second in the Listed MRC Christmas Stakes on Boxing Day at Caulfield has Away Game primed for another return to the rich Gold Coast Magic Millions race day on January 15.

Instant Celebrity is another Group I winning Mill Park graduate.

Other current star performers raised / sold by Mill Park in 2021 include Group I SAJC Robert Sangster Stakes winner Instant Celebrity, $3.1 million earner Dalasan, $2.2million earner Warning, $1million earning Group winner Peltzer (now retired to stud) and Group and Listed winners Seradess, Cerberus, Ecumenical and Senor Toba, who is now in Hong Kong being prepared for the 2022 Hong Kong Derby.
