One to Watch - Mornington

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday December 14

Gelding might be the making of this talented three year-old son of I Am Invincible, who won with a wing on every foot at Mornington on Tuesday.

Attractable wins with ease at Mornington - image Pat Scala/ Racing Photos

Unremarkable at his first two starts when running last at Sandown and third at Cranbourne, it was a new look Attractable that ventured back to the races for a 1200m maiden having not raced since August.

Trained by Peter Moody, Attractable was backed into favouritism and got the job done in style bolting clear to win by five lengths.

A $290,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Mill Park draft for Domeland, Attractable is the third winner from three foals to race from stakes-winning Husson (Arg) mare Affable, who comes from the family of dual Group I winner and sire Turffontein.

Attractable was one of three winners on Tuesday for Yarraman Park’s champion sire I Am Invincible, who is edging closer to 100 winners for the season having now hit 95 with his arrival in the ‘Century Club’ likely to occur before Christmas.
