Thoroughbreds Are Go Returns Monday November 8

Media Release - Sunday November 7

Caroline Searcy’s national thoroughbred re-homing program Thoroughbreds Are Go returns to Sky Thoroughbred Central this Monday night, Nov 8 at 7.30pm on Channel 528.

Educating racing owners about the best way to find their ex-racehorse the best home for a long and happy life, information for the equestrian community, who are increasing their uptake of this great breed, and entertainment, as the program highlights the wonderful athleticism and adaptability of this highly intelligent breed.

Popular jockey Jeff Penza and his mighty thoroughbred Fireball were back in the jump arena at Stonewall last Friday.

The spring season will feature three special episodes including the expansion of Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association, bringing sponsors from the racing and breeding industry to reward thoroughbred riders with great prizemoney at competitions across Australia.

Monday’s episode also features an extensive look at the problems ex-racehorses face with sudden changes of diet when they move to a new home. Equine nutritionist Rebecca Ham of Kentucky Equine has some great information to help your horse make a smooth transition into a new environment.
