Three year-old filly Dreamy Belle had been well educated with a series of barrier trials by Kris Lees and looked a class above when scooting clear to win the 900 metre scamper by two and a quarter lengths on debut.
Dreamy Belle is a half-sister to Group I ATC Coolmore Classic winner Plucky
Belle and Group I place-getters Rawnaq and Light Brigade.She is the fifth winner from six foals to race from former high class Group II winning Zabeel mare Winning Belle.
Winning Belle has a yearling colt by Plucky Belle's sire Mossman and sadly missed to Dream Ahead last spring.
The leading Australian Second Crop Sire last season by stakes-winners, Dream Ahead stands at Aquis Farm at Murrurrundi at a fee of $19,800.
