Cup Tip from the Sale Ring

Tara Madgwick - Monday November 1

Offered by Magic Millions Online in The Cup Sale, five year-old broodmare Bali Beach (GB) sold for $355,000 to Ciaron Maher Bloodstock on Monday and she is closely related to one of the Maher/ Eustace Cup runners today as well as being a half-sister to 2018 Melbourne Cup winner Cross Counter (GB).

Bali Beach comes from the same family as Floating Artist (GB), who was narrowly beaten in the Group II Moonee Valley Cup and is at $14 for the Cup.

The icing on the cake with Bali Beach is being in foal to Incentivise’s sire Shamus Award, so just maybe she is carrying a Cup winner of the future!
