Everest Field and Barrier Draw

The field is set for the $15million TAB The Everest (1200m) at Randwick this Saturday and the running of Australia’s richest race will reshape the Australian General Sires List by earnings.

All of the runners are Australian bred sprinters bar Lost and Running, who carries the NZ suffix.

I am Invincible is the only sire with more than one runner in the $15million The Everest.

Half of the field are by stallions foaled in the Northern Hemisphere and the other half are by Australian bred sires with the most expensive stallion this spring, Yarraman Park’s I Am Invincible represented by two runners in Libertini, who is the only mare in the field and Home Affairs, who is the only three year-old.

The all-important barrier draw was announced at midday on Tuesday at a function at the North Bondi Surf Club.
