Hoover Lucy Brings MM 2YO’s Sale Update

Stakes-placed last season at two, talented filly Hoover Lucy scored an overdue maiden win at Warwick Farm on Monday bringing a timely pedigree update for her half-brother to be offered at the Magic Millions 2YO’s in Training Sale.

Trained by Chris Waller, the three year-old No Nay Never (USA) filly was a close second last start behind promising Zetarita and enjoyed a step up to 1400m to post a dominant win.

A short priced favourite with James McDonald on board, Hoover Lucy galloped clear for a smooth two and a half length win and has now banked over $100,000 in prizemoney with a win and four placings from six starts.

Hoover Lucy was a $120,000 Magic Millions purchase from Torryburn Stud.

A $120,000 Magic Millions purchase for Woppitt Bloodstock from the Torryburn Stud draft, Hoover Lucy is the third winner from Chelsea Hotel, a metro winning Dylan Thomas (IRE) mare from US stakes-winner Chelsey’s Image (USA).
 

KBL Thoroughbreds will offer the Rubick colt from Chelsea Hotel at Magic Millions 2YO’s in Training as Lot 72.
