Mark Smith - Friday September 3

The five-year-old Smart Missile mare More Prophets earned a valuable stakes success in Friday's Wyong Leagues Club Group Listed Mona Lisa Stakes (1350m) at Wyong.

One of three runners in the race for John Thompson and with the unstoppable James McDonald in the saddle, More Prophets came with a barnstorming finish to defeat the 5yo Sebring mare Bring The Ransom by a half-neck with the favoured 5yo Uncle Mo (USA) mare Great News a half-length back in third.

A last-start winner at Randwick, More Prophets advances her record to five wins, two seconds, and four thirds from 14 starts with earnings of $286,930.

A homebred for Bell River Thoroughbreds and the Hongo family, More Prophets was passed in when bidding fell short of her $100,000 reserve when consigned by Yarraman Park Stud to the 2018 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

A half-sister to Bell Rivers Group II MRC Rubiton Stakes winner Prophet's Thumb, More Prophets is the third winner from as many to race out of the Melbourne winner Set To Skelter.

More Prophets failed to make her $100,000 reserve at the Inglis Classic

A daughter of Reset, Set To Skelter is a sister to Listed Bagot Stakes winner Module out of Listed AJC Breeders' Classic winner Miss Helterskelter (Brocco).

Set To Skelter missed in 2019 and 2020 and was covered by Brazen Beau last spring.

More Prophets becomes the 22nd stakes-winner for Twin Hills Stud's prolific winner-getter Smart Missile.

The son of Fastnet Rock stands for a fee of $16,500 this spring.
