New Juvenile Stakes-Winner for Artie Schiller

Aquis Farm's Artie Schiller (USA) added a new stakes-winner to his tally in the US on Saturday with a stylish win in the $80,000 Shakopee Juvenile Stakes at Canterbury Downs for unbeaten filly Amy's Challenge.

Artie SchillerAn impressive winner by daylight at the same venue last month, the McLean Robertson trained filly proved too good for the colts in this tougher six furlong assignment, forging clear to win by three-quarters of a length.

Amy's Challenge is the first stakes-winner in her family in three generations so Artie Schiller has done a fine job to upgrade this immediate family into stakes class.

She is the 38th stakes-winner worldwide for Artie Schiller, who sired the best three year-old sprinter in the world last year in Flying Artie.

A Group I winning son of Medaglia D'Oro's sire El Prado, Artie Schiller is priced at $33,000 this spring standing at Aquis Farm at Murrurrundi.
