
He raced a little keenly for Craig Williams, but pulled out plenty in the run to the line to cruise home and win the 1400 metre contest by a commanding length and three-quarters over another High Chaparral son in Mr Sneaky.
"He was tough and solid and always performs well at this track and distance," said Craig Williams.
"Bon Aurum won this race last year on the way to the Rupert Clarke (Group I), so that might be a good guide."
