Fourth Winner for Astern - Half-Brother at Inglis Easter

Mark Smith - Saturday April 3

The Jean Dubois-trained colt Arnaqueur made a winning career debut over 1300m at Kembla Grange on Saturday to become the fourth winner for Astern and provide a timely update for his half-brother heading to the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Settled just off the pace by Jean Van Overmeire, Arnaqueur did best in a driving finish to defeat the Pins colt Akahata by a short-head with the Capitalist filly Collier Bay a length back in third.
