Placed at her first two starts at Geelong and Kyneton, Dance to Dubai was well rated in front by Luke Nolen to lead all the way and win the 1300m maiden by a long neck.

"S

he's a fairly hot horse so she'll probably dictate how far we get into this prep," said Moody, who will seek to progress Dance to Dubai through the grades over summer.

"But she's got a pretty good grounding and she gives herself every chance because of her racing style."

A $110,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Sledmere Stud draft for Dalziel Rcg/Peter Moody/Darren Weir Rcg, Dance to Dubai was bred by China Horse Club and is the first winner for Brisk (GB), a winning half-sister by Nayef to US Group II winner Costume.

It’s a big international Black Type family that has achieved success in Australia previously with Group I ATC Australian Oaks winner Unforgotten.

Brisk has a yearling colt to follow by Vancouver and a filly foal by Russian Revolution.

The Champion Australia First Crop Sire last season and the leading European First Crop Sire by SW’s in 2020, Pride of Dubai has 21 entries for the 2021 Magic Millions.
