Making his third start and his first in eleven months, the son of Zoustar cruised to a three-length win over the Star Witness filly Screebe with the Epaulette filly Soldier's Desire five lengths back in third.

Fourth in the Group III ATC Breeders' Plate last October, Belieber runs as a homebred for the Tait family after he failed to make his $200,000 reserve out of the  Twin Hills Stud draft at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Belieber as a yearling

Twin Hills purchased Belieber’s dam Sense and Reason for $150,000 when she was carrying the son of Zoustar at the 2017 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

A daughter of Exceed And Excel, Sense And Reason was an accomplished sprinter winning five races in Sydney.

Her dam Donna Intelligente (Dehere) is a half-sister to the Group III STC Sweet Embrace winner Burning Sands (Marju) from a family that includes Skoozi Please, Shelbourne Lass, Elusive Touch and Main Stage.

Piccadilly Waltz made a winning debut at Mornington (Race Photos)

The fourth dam of Donna Intelligente was the outstanding New Zealand mare Jandell.

Vienna Waltz (Snitzel), a daughter of Burning Sands, had her first foal, Piccadilly Waltz, make a hugely impressive debut at Mornington last month for Matthew Ellerton and Simon Zahra.

Carrying the colours of Wattle Grove Thoroughbreds, the daughter of Foxwedge was sent to the spelling paddock after her fast-finishing victory.
