Shedaresthedevil and runner-up Swiss Skydiver come from the first crop of Champagne Stakes winner Daredevil who became The China Horse Club’s first stallion in America. He stood four seasons at WinStar Farm in Kentucky before being acquired by the Turkish Jockey Club late last year.

Sent off a 15/1 shot under Florent Geroux, the Brad Cox-trained filly tracked the favourite Gamine in the run before drawing clear in the straight to defeat Swiss Skydiver by one and a half lengths with Gamine (Into Mischief) the same distance back in third.

A $100,000 weanling purchase at the 2017 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, Shedaresthedevil returned to the same same last year at two with a win under her belt and a Gr !! placing..

She was purchased by Merrill Scherer for $280,000 on behalf of Flurry Racing Stables and Big Aut Farms with her previous part-owner, Sheikh Fahad Al Thani's Qatar Racing, retaining a share.

Shedaresthedevil's dam Starship Warpspeed, by the former Vinery Stud shuttler Congrats (USA), has had four winners from as many foals including the Gr III placed Mojovation (Quality Road).
