Impendabelle came ever so close to picking up a maiden Group One crown at Riccarton last November, and Tony Pike is hoping the filly can go one better in Saturday’s Gr.1 Cambridge Stud Levin Classic (1600m).

20-year-old Brooke Hawthorne and her partner Ryan Stacey enjoyed a successful first pinhooking venture when their handsome Impending colt out of Prudence Perfecto was snapped up for $115,000 during the Book 2 Sale of New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale.

Impending Filly Leads Karaka Million Order of Entry

An impressive Group Two victory at Trentham earlier this month has thrust the undefeated filly Impendabelle (Impending) to the top of the order of entry for the $1m DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka Million 2YO (1200m).
