Juvenile Trial Watch – Warwick Farm

Tara Madgwick - Friday April 17

There was plenty of juvenile action at the Warwick Farm trials on Friday with seven heats for two year-olds including one taken out by the sibling to a Golden Slipper winner and a Silver Slipper winner.

$800,000 Inglis Easter yearling purchase Still Reigning Trained by Gary Portelli, as were her famous siblings She Will Reign and Time to Reign, Time for War filly Still Reigning looked a real professional when skipping away to win her heat by three lengths under a hold.

That was her first trial for this year after showing promise in her trial efforts at the end of last year and Still Reigning looks well primed to go to the races.

An $800,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for Kitchwin Hills, she is the fourth foal from terrific producer Courgette, who was bought by E Thoroughbreds at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2018 for $2.1million.

She has a yearling colt by I Am Invincible and a weanling colt by Snitzel, who covered her again last spring.

See all the trial results with Sale Mail at Breednet and at Racing NSW with video.
