Plan Your Inspections of Chairman's Sale Entries

Media Release - Friday April 17

Inspections for mares entered in The Inglis Chairman’s Sale will be by appointment with their respective consignors, with most set to be available by early next week.

Oaks winner Unforgotten is among Chairman's Sale entries While many mares will be on the farms of those vendors offering them, some will be relocated, which is detailed below.

Baystone Farm (Devout Heiress, Indrabeel, Justice Glory, Shadow Watch, Shapita) Located at Sledmere Stud from the week starting April 20th (exact date TBC)

Blue Sky Premium Consignment (Unforgotten) – Currently in work with Chris Waller and relocation details are TBC.

Hesket Bloodstock (All Of Me, Royal Expectations, Sword Of Light) – Sword Of Light and All Of Me will re-locate to Amarina Farm during the 2nd half of the week starting April 20th. Royal Expectations is currently in work at Flemington with Ellerton/Zahra.

Lime Country (Oh My Mimi, Tinkermosa) – Located at Sledmere Stud from Tuesday April 21st

Mill Park (Arabian Gold) – Located at Sledmere Stud from Wednesday April 22nd

Twin Hills (Baileya, Urban Rocket) – Located at Yarraman Park from the week starting April 20th (exact date TBC)

Yarran (Booker) – Currently in work with Gerald Ryan and relocation date to Fairview Park is TBC.

Yarraman (In Her Time) - Currently in work with Kris Lees and relocation date to Yarraman Park is TBC.

Fundamentalist Syndicate (Fundamentalist) – Located at Aquis Farm, NSW

Lubiana Syndicate (Lubiana) – Located at Aquis Farm, NSW

Buyers are encouraged to contact vendors well in advance of travel to make appropriate arrangements for inspections. Buyers can also contact any member of the Inglis Blodstock Team for any necessary information or assistance with inspection schedules.

Inglis encourages all participatants to continue to adopt responsible social distancing measures throughout the inspection process, just as they did during on-farm parades ahead of the Easter Yearling Sale.

Applications for a Wildcard spot in The Chairman’s Sale will be accepted up until 5pm on Friday April 24.

The Chairman’s Sale already features a collection of broodmares and breeding prospects of incredible quality.

Already confirmed in the main catalogue are the likes of G1 winners In Her Time, Unforgotten and Booker, Cleanup - the dam of recent G1 Doncaster Mile winner Nettoyer – in foal to The Autumn Sun, G2 winner and G1-placed mare Noire, Admirable – dam of dual G1 winner Vega Magic – in foal to Exceed And Excel, G2-winning Hinchinbrook mare Samara Dancer (in foal to freshman sire Trapeze Artist) and dual Stakes winners such as Sprightly Lass (in foal to Pierro), Sword Of Light (in foal to Fastnet Rock), Lubiton (in foal to I Am Invincible) and Meryl.

The catalogue also includes rare offerings in foal to star international stallions like Lope De Vega, Kingman, Frankel and Medaglia d’Oro.

The Chairman’s Sale will take the format of a Virtual Auction with online and telephone bidding, just as last week’s Easter Yearling Sale did.

Details for bidding registration and inspection locations for catalogued mares will be released in the coming days.

The online sale coverage will again be accompanied by a Sale Day Live broadcast hosted by Caroline Searcy.

The sale will begin at 3pm on Friday May 8 at inglis.com.au, with a 30-minute preview show to commence online at 2.30pm.
