One to Watch – Goulburn

Tara Madgwick - Thursday April 16

There’s a baldy face and a BALDY face and this one is impossible not to watch, so he’s the ‘One to Watch’ on Thursday.

Three year-old Fastnet Rock gelding Seventh Seal is an eye-catching individual and scored his second win from just three starts when scoring a dominant victory in the Benchmark 58 event over 1200 metres.

Seventh Seal is a horse not to be missed easily!Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Seventh Seal was sent out favourite despite having a wide gate and 60.5 kg to carry, but got the job done in style.

A $250,000 Karaka purchase for China Horse Club / Newgate / Winstar from the Curraghmore draft, Seventh Seal is a full brother to Group I winner First Seal who was in the news last week when her first foal, a colt by Snitzel, topped the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale at $1.8 million. Read about him here.

Seventh Seal is the ninth winner from dual Group I winner Episode, who has done a great job at stud also producing Group II winner Book of Kells and stakes-placed Best Commad and Sacred Sword as well as her jewel in the crown First Seal.
