The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable unleashed another impressive two year-old for Aquis on Tuesday with this debut winner bringing a pedigree update for her half-brother to be offered at Inglis Easter tomorrow.

Snitzel filly Macroura overcame an outside gate to win the 1000 metre maiden by the best part of a length.

A homebred for Aquis Farm, Macroura is the first winner for Zenaida, a half-sister by Zabeel to New Zealand Horse of the Year and triple Group I winner Vosne Romanee.

Her second foal is an Exceed and Excel colt that Aquis sold last year as a weanling for $240,000 at the Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale to Ampulla Lodge.

Ampulla Lodge will offer the colt tomorrow at Inglis Easter as Lot 298 and he's pictured below..
