Lot 134 sold for $1.1million

A stunning grey half-brother to Group II winner Classique Legend and Hong Kong based Group II winner Aethero, the colt from Pinocchio was consigned by Tyreel Stud and purchased by Hong Kong based Legend Racing for $1.1million.

Legend Racing is Hong Kong based owner Bon Ho, whose many past successes included this colt’s half-brother Classique Legend, who has won over $1.4million in prizemoney.

A full sister to Champion Miler Racing to Win, Pinocchio has done a great job for Tyreel Stud with three foals to race all winners with this colt delivering her biggest pay day in the sale ring.

He is also the most expensive yearling ever sired by So You Think, topping his previous best by quite a margin.

So You Think is enjoying a great season with eight Australian stakes-winners and was super popular at Coolmore last spring covering 234 mares last year at a fee of $38,500.
