One to Watch - Ballarat

Tara Madgwick - Monday April 6

A heavy 10 at Ballarat on Monday might have put a few runners off their game, but not this two year-old daughter of Sebring, who bolted away to win by five and a half lengths.

Third on debut at Sandown last month, the Hayes / Dabernig trained filly Rose of Sebring was sent out favourite and made light work of the conditions to win as she pleased at her second start.

A $95,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Highgrove Stud draft for Flying Start Syndications / Pinhook Bloodstock (FBAA), Rose of Sebring is the second winner from Pozaci, a half-sister by Encosta de Lago to stakes-winner Planet Voyage.

Sebring has 21 entries for Inglis Easter , click to see them Pozaci is a daughter of Group III winner Pasikatera from the family of Group I winner Tempest Morn and Group II winners Attention and Good Standing.

Sebring has a good record with daughters of Encosta de Lago producing five stakes-winners from 60 runners including Group II winners Believe Yourself, Seaburge, Catch a Fire and Aethero.

Fresh from siring Nettoyer to win the Group I ATC Doncaster last Saturday, Sebring has a strong hand in the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale online with 21 entries and you can see them all here.
