Magic Millions Revise Winter Sale Dates Due To COVID-19

Breednet - Wednesday April 1

Magic Millions have announced that given the current Government restrictions, the dates for the 2020 National Sale have been revised to ensure the best possible conditions for vendors and buyers.

The Broodmare & Weanling offering will now be conducted on 20-24 July 2020.

As such, entries have been extended and will now close on Friday 8 May.

Given the closeness to the foaling season any mares on an early cover will be sold in absentia.

As the Covid-19 situation is rapidly evolving, the new schedule listed on this page is provisional only.

In 2019 the race fillies and mares section boasted a gross of over $28 million which produced a record average price of $168,251 for 167 lots sold.

Over the last six years 48 individual lots have sold for $1 million or more at this sale.
