Countdown to Easter Online gathers momentum

Breednet - Tuesday March 31
All is in readiness for the 2020 Australian Easter Yearling Sale – the first ever to be run as a solely digital auction.

The unique situation as a result of COVID-19 will see the Easter Yearling Sale held online at inglis.com.au from April 5-8.

Bidding will open at 10am this coming Sunday, April 5, with each lot to sell sequentially in lot order from 10am Tuesday April 7, completing on April 8.

In order to bid, each participant must be officially registered through Inglis.

All existing Inglis Digital Accounts and Inglis Online Bidding accounts are eligible for the upcoming Easter Yearling Sale.

Existing registered bidders simply need to login and request bidding approval/credit for the Easter Sale.

Existing and new digital customers simply need to CLICK HERE and follow the prompts.

Every new buyer who registers will be provided with a contact list of Inglis staff qualified to provide telephone bidding assistance should a buyer experience technical or other difficulties while trying to bid online.

Standard credit approval requirements will apply as with any Inglis physical or online sale.

The Easter auction will be complemented by a Sale Day Live channel hosted by Caroline Searcy.

The Sale Day Live coverage will begin at 9.30am on Tuesday April 7 and Wednesday April 8 with a preview of the upcoming day’s action, as well as providing uninterrupted live coverage and commentary of the sale.

It will be accessible via inglis.com.au.

Inglis will host a trial Easter Yearling Sale this coming Friday, April 3 from 10am-3pm, whereby interested participants who have registered for online bidding will be able to test the online facility.

“While we have over 4000 registered users built up from our highly-successful twice-monthly Inglis Digital Online Auctions, there will obviously be new clients using the online portal for the first time for what is our first ever Easter Yearling Sale Online,’’ Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said.

“This test auction on Friday will give them and everybody a chance to trial the software, get a feel for how the online auction platform works and make themselves comfortable so when the Easter Sale goes live at 10am Sunday morning, everybody will know how the process works and how simple it is.’’

Inglis has created a set of FAQs ahead of the auction, which are available on the Inglis website.

For anybody who still has questions about the sale process, Inglis is happy to answer any questions from anybody at any time.

Buyers who would like to book a private telephone based demonstration on how to register and/or bid online please contact Helen Taylor on helen.taylor@inglis.com.au or 02 9399 7999 or 0411 874 017.
