Having her first try at a Black type race, the Bjorn Baker trained Positive Peace was ridden forward from an outside gate by Tim Clark and took over the lead with two furlongs to run.

Positive Peace is now a valuable G2 winner! She was strong to the line and defied all challengers to win by a length and a quarter taking her overall record to eight wins and four seconds from 17 starts with prizemoney topping $370,000.

"She's just in great form," Clark said.

"Well done to Bjorn and his team, they've just got her absolutely flying.

"I couldn't hold her slow enough mid-race, she was absolutely jogging.

"I knew she was rock-hard fit, whereas the leader was first-up and Sweet Deal had had that break between runs, so from the 600 metres I wanted to make sure it was a good gallop and make them catch her if they could.

"She was just so strong and she's just in unbelievable form."

Positive Peace has firmed from $26 to $15 for the Group I ATC Coolmore Legacy Stakes (1600m) at Randwick in two weeks.

"I think we have to look at it for sure," said her trainer Bjorn Baker.

"We will see how she comes through and go from there."

A $260,000 inglis Easter purchase from the Kia Ora Stud draft for Bjorn Baker Racing / Blandford Bloodstock, Positive Peace runs for Steve and Louise Gillard.

Bred by Kia Ora, Positive Peace is a sibling to stakes performers Rotator and Alkaashef and is the best of five winners from stakes-winning Reset mare Warpath.

Kia Ora have a great selection of yearlings for Inglis Easter and you can see them here.

The current yearling from Warpath is a Your Song filly that made $70,000 at Inglis Classic when bought by Matthew Dale and she is now in foal to So You Think after missing in 2018.

Positive Peace is the 45th stakes-winner for Widden Stud’s much missed sire Stratum.
