Another Smart Winner Brazen Beau

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday March 24

Darley young gun Brazen Beau has had a strong run of recent success with six winners this month including new stakes-winner Larimer Street and a smart winner at Geelong on Tuesday.

Brazen Beau has had a run of recent winners including a new SW Larimer StreetThe David Brideoake trained Turbeau was all at sea last start on a wet track, but back on firm footing scored a half length win over 1400 metres, his first victory from five starts with two previous placings.

Passed in at 2018 Inglis Easter and retained to race, Turbeau is a half-brother to Group III winner Thames Court and is the fifth winner from five foals to race from stakes-winning Canny Lad mare Pantenny.

The first son of champion sire I Am Invincible to retire to stud, Brazen Beau has already produced seven stakes-winners (one in the Northern Hemisphere) and had a fee increase last spring rising to $49,500.

He covered 127 mares at Darley Victoria that included Godolphin’s Golden Slipper winner Forensics
