Woodside Park Offer Exceptional Unreserved Bloodstock Online

Media Release - Wednesday March 18

In light of the current events worldwide' the racing and breeding industry is adjusting and adapting to survive the uncertain times. However, one platform destined to grow, is the online bloodstock sales, with buyers staying away from busy auditoriums and the hustle and bustle ringside.

Woodside Park Stud will be presenting 19 outstanding unreserved lots to be sold online in the next Inglis Late March Online Sale over the 20 - 25th March 2020.

Woodside Park Stud will have an open-door policy and welcomes all prospective buyers to inspect the horses on offer prior to bidding this Sunday & Monday at 2-4pm at 95 Central Rd, Tylden.

“For those interested parties that cannot come and see the mares and foals in the flesh, we have taken the time to produce brilliant footage of each lot. This will be a true and accurate impression of each horse on offer, complemented by professional photography,” Price said.

“These videos will take online buying to the next level. It is by far the best quality footage that has ever been produced for an online sale. The imagery will be transparent and informative, giving the buyer wonderful confidence when they purchase their next bloodstock investment.”

Amongst this stellar draft of 18 mares and one weanling, are four “3 in 1” packages, nine in-foal mares, and two mares with foals at foot.

As this entire draft is UNRESERVED, this group of bloodstock is exceptional value and will be an asset to any breeder or farm looking at upgrading their broodmare band or future yearling drafts.

Mares will be offered in foal to Foxwedge“As a whole, the group boasts outstanding proven stakes performing and producing mares, half-sisters and daughters to G1 winners and relations to some of the most sought-after families in the Australian studbook,” Woodside’s James Price said.

“It’s vital that we constantly evolve and modify our industry to what is happening worldwide. With the impact the Coronavirus is currently making on traditional sales held on complex, we are taking advantage of the online market and making it convenient for the buyer to access quality bloodstock in the comfort of their home or office. In the future, there is no doubt that this will become an essential part of buying and selling bloodstock around the country.”

“Many of the mares have tested positive to Woodside’s resident stallions, Cable Bay, Foxwedge, Rich Enuff & Tosen Stardom, under the guidance and management of our expert veterinary support team, and the foals at foot are professionally raised and grown on-farm by our experienced and dedicated staff.”

“The sale opens this Friday, and we look forward to some healthy competition in the online market. To all buyers, good luck and happy bidding!”
