Aquis Farm have a proven record of success from the Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale and with a big draft of 35 catalogued this year there are opportunities aplenty.

Spill the Beans is second to only Pride of Dubai on the Australian First Season Sires List by earnings and winners! Past Aquis drafts at this sale have produced their share of winners including talented Hong Kong based galloper Winner Supreme.

The Rothesay four year-old was sold as part of the 2017 draft for $20,000 has finished outside of the top three only twice in all this starts in Hong Kong, amassing over $680,000 in earnings for connections.

Another from the 2017 draft to have won four from ten starts is the David Vandyke trained Hold The Line, who was purchased for $37,000 by his trainer.

The Your Song mare has earned her connections just shy of $300,000 and after a recent barrier trial third, the she looks set to return to the track in the coming weeks.

Three year-old Poet’s Voice (GB) gelding Master Jamie was sold as part of the 2018 draft for $10,000 to Ron and Bev White, and Maureen Olive.

He has built a super impressive record in the Rockhampton area winning 11 of 14 starts with his last two victories posted down in Brisbane at Eagle Farm.

Master Jamie has earned his connections over $330,000, providing his owners with a phenomenal return on investment.

With only a third of Aquis’ 2019 draft having yet raced, the juveniles are all showing promise highlighted by the Spill The Beans duo of Tennessee Boy, a three-time winner from four starts, as well as Way Beyond who has placed on three occasions from four starts, with the prospect of a win just around the corner for the Stuart Kendrick trained colt.

Currently sitting in second place on the Australian First Season sires list by earnings and winners, Spill the Beans has made a great start to his stud career leaving us all to wonder just what might have been for this exciting son of Snitzel, who died prematurely last  spring after just four seasons at Aquis Queensland.

He has already sired five winners including Cosmic Gossip, who runs in the $500,000 Aquis QTIS Jewel at the Gold Coast on Saturday and has 14 of his offspring in the Aquis’ draft and 37 for the entire sale.

One of the first through the ring from the Aquis draft his year is Lot 64, a Spill The Beans colt from Tiptoe, a half-sister to Group I BRC Stradbroke Handicap winner Crawl from the family of Champion 3YO Colt and four-time Group I winner Trapeze Artist.
