The daughter of Highly Recommended has two stakes placings to her name including a third at her most recent start in the Group I Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m) at Awapuni behind Stephen Autridge and Jamie Richards' Melody Belle.

"She has good form over in New Zealand that was franked throughout the Queensland carnival," co-trainer Adrian Bott said.

Melody Belle took out the BRC Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m) at her first Australian start in emphatic fashion which has Bott positive that the quality New Zealander can measure up with the best fillies in Australia but indicated she may be better once stepped up in trip.

"On a whole the New Zealand form stacks up well in Australia so that being the case we're hopeful she can carry that across," Bott said.

"It's always difficult taking them that next step from the two-year-old into three-year-old company but she's done well since she arrived.

"I think she'll improve stepping over further so, we'll learn a bit more about her on Saturday but she's got upside and once we step her up to 1400m and 1600m she'll be better placed.

"It's only early days with us so there is definitely improvement there."

Joyfilly Ours has had two trials in preparation for her Australian debut and is currently at $15 with Bet365 for the $200,000 event, with Bjorn Baker's Champagne Cuddles and James Cummings' Alizee currently equal favourites at $3.20.
