Godolphin Magic Mill Park Purchase Salutes

Godolphin were very active at the 2018 Magic Millions Yearling Sale securing Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Exhilarates among their eight purchases which also included Secretively, who opened his account at Randwick on Wednesday.

Secretively as a yearlingGelding might be the making of the James Cummings trained Secretively, the three year-old son of Dawn Approach (IRE) resuming from a spell and a gelding operation to power home and win the 1100 metre maiden by a length.

A $450,000 Magic Millions purchase for Godolphin from the Mill Park draft, Secretively had never been further back than fifth in five previous starts and now he’s worked out how to win will be worth following.

Secretively is a half-brother to Group I placed Naafer and is the fifth winner f rom five to race from stakes-winning Exceed and Excel mare Very Discreet, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group II winner Serenely Discreet.
