Last season’s he finished the season with 150 winners which included star G1 colt Despatch and courageous G1 mare Booker, while the year before he tallied his highest number of victors for a season with 153 winners.

However, this year, that figure may be surpassed, having had many of the best mares in the country visit the Victorian Champion.

Currently sitting on 101, with close to 5 months of the season ahead, Written Tycoon is well on track to break his own record.

The 19/20 season has already included six 2YO winners and four black type success, including listed winners Hightail and Banquo, dual G3 winner Teleplay and the G3 winner Pippie, who is now headed for the G1 Oakleigh Plate.

“With his list of black type successes growing, Written Tycoon’s yearlings will continue to receive the attention they deserve with an outstanding selection of progeny available at the upcoming sales around the nation,” Price said.

Being presented at Premier, as Lot 138, the Written Tycoon x Dutch Romance colt will be cheering on his brother Marnix in the Listed $2 million Inglis Millennium on Saturday. Drawing barrier six, the Godolphin trained galloper will be piloted by inform Nash Rawiller at Warwick Farm.
