First For I'm All The Talk

With four of the 11 starters in a 2yo maiden over 1016 metres at Bunbury on Monday, Mungrup Stud’s I’m All The Talk had a great chance to get off the mark with a milestone first winner and two of his daughters duly fought out the race.

The Steve Wolfe-trained longshot Watch Me Dance defeated the even-money favourite Madam Torio by a length and a quarter with Agent Kensington (So Secret) a further half-length back in third.Watch Me Dance as a yearling

It was doubly good news for Mungrup Stud who will offer a full-brother to Watch Me Dance at the Magic Millions Perth Sale.

Purchased by Commercial Bloodstock Services for $34,0000 at the 2019 Magic Millons Perth Yearling Sale, Watch Me Dance is the first winner from two to race out of the stakes-placed Oratorio mare Coventry To Rio.

A son of Stratum, I’m All The Talk was a brilliant 2yo for Gary Portelli winning the Group III ATC Skyline Stakes at Warwick Farm. At three he was runner-up to Teravista in the Group II The Shorts at Randwick.

He stood at Mungrup Stud for a fee of $5,500 in 2019.
