Middlebrook Valley Flyers to Make Magic

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Monday January 6

The late Paul Whelan enjoyed success at the highest level as a breeder and as an owner through the deeds of champion colt Flying Artie, who is the sire of two cracking yearlings he co-bred that will be offered by Middlebrook Valley Lodge as agent at Magic Millions this week.

A brilliant winner of the Group I VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes, Flying Artie was the Champion 3YO Sprinter of his generation and his first yearlings have impressed many at the Gold Coast during inspections.

Middlebrook Valley Lodge will offer two of them.

Lot 761 is a filly from unraced Fastnet Rock mare She’s a Wildcat, a full sister to Group I winner and sire Foxwedge as well as stakes-winner She’s a Fox.

The current two year-old from She’s a Wildcat is exciting Pierro colt Untamed, who made $450,000 at this sale last year and won on debut at Canterbury last Friday and you can read about him here.

Lot 884 is a colt from quality import Twelve Pack Shelly (USA), a stakes-winner in the US and proven stakes producer as the dam of two foals to race both winners headed by the stakes-winner Kentucky Miss.

Middlebrook Valley Lodge will also offer the following.

Lot 174 Filly Pierro x Chatham House, by Fastnet Rock

Lot 602 Colt Hinchinbrook x Oriental Ruby, by Street Cry (IRE)
