Magic Update for Valiant Stud

Every vendor loves a pedigree update leading into a sale, particularly when it involves one of the best yearlings in their draft.

Lot 85 comes from the immediate family of new stakes-winners Quackerjack and Sugar Boom.Fergal Connolly and his team of staff at Valiant Stud have been busy since arriving at the Gold Coast last week with a crackerjack draft of five youngsters set to be offered for sale this week at Magic Millions including a gorgeous filly by I Am Invincible that has had two new stakes-winners jump into her pedigree in the past month.

To be offered as Lot 85, she is the third foal of stakes-winning Fastnet Rock mare Anatina, who is a sibling to the dams of Group II ATC Villers Stakes winner Quackerjack and Sugar Boom, winner of the Listed BRC Mode Plate.

Below is her updated pedigree featuring plenty of Black Type!

The remainder of the draft is as follows:

Lot 103 Filly Flying Artie x Aurora Glow, by Northern Meteor

Lot 125 Filly Sebring x Beirut, by Lonhro

Lot 692 Filly Written Tycoon x Rockolicious, by Fastnet Rock

Lot 869 Colt Rubick x Tiergarten, by Street Cry (IRE)

This colt is another to have the benefit of a new stakes-winner on the page as his dam Tiergarten is a grand-daughter of Snitzel’s half-sister Wiener, who is the dam of this season’s talented 2YO Rathlin, winner of the Listed BRC Phelan Ready Stakes with the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on Saturday his next assignment.
