Magic Success Brings Buyers Back to Sledmere – Part Two

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 1

A past track record of success and a sensational draft of yearlings by leading sires makes the Sledmere draft a must inspect at any sale.

When you can hang your hat on a $2.4 million earning horse like Invincibella, you just know every buyer will be stopping in to see what you have to offer at Magic Millions in 2020.

Smart SW Futooh was sold by Sledmere Stud and has a three-quarter sister to be offered at Magic Millions Sledmere Stud under the care of Catriona and Royston Murphy has soared to new heights with a growing list of successful sales graduates headed by remarkable Group I winning mare Invincibella.

A $185,000 Magic Millions purchase for Star Thoroughbreds from the Sledmere draft in 2015, Invincibella is one of those rare thoroughbreds that has improved in every season of racing.

A two time winner of the $1million Magic Millions Filly and Mare in 2018 and 2019, Invincibella attained Group I success this year when taking out the Tatts Tiara and has the overall record of 11 wins and 12 placings from 42 starts with earnings just shy of $2.5million.

Other shining lights from Sledmere include Dissident’s first stakes-winner Pancho, with Dissident set to play a role again for Sledmere at this sale as they will offer a stunning filly by him from stakes-winning Dubawi mare Golden Millennium.

This lovely chestnut filly is a three-quarter sister to classy Group II placed stakes-winner Futooh, who is by Dissident’s sire Sebring.
