Ciaron Maher and David Eustace took the weraps off this $1.6million Snitzel colt for the first time on New Year’s Eve and got the perfect result.

Three year-old Grand Admiral scored a length win in the 1200m maiden as a short priced favourite, although he made rider Linda Meech work to achieve the success.
 



Grand Admiral as a yearlingA $1.6 million Magic Millions purchase from the Milburn Creek draft for Phoenix Tbreds/Aquis/Yulong/Ciaron Maher B/S, Grand Admiral is a full brother to Group I winner and sire Sizzling and is the fourth winner from Admirelle.

A stakes-placed daughter of General Nediym, Admirelle has no yearling this year, but did have a Russian Revolution colt in 2019.
