Widden Stud bred Stratum Star was a $165,000 Magic Millions graduate from the 2013 Gold Coast Sale and 2020 will see the first of his progeny to grace sale rings around Australia.

Stratum Star has let down into a stunning looking stallionA dual Group I winner of $2.4 million in prizemoney, Stratum Star is the best son of Widden Stud’s much missed Golden Slipper winning sire Stratum, who died in 2016.

A handsome chestnut with a great constitution, Stratum Star won Group I races on both sides of the country taking the Group I MRC Sir Rupert Clark Stakes (1400m) and WATC Kingston Town Classic (1800m) with a lucrative win in the $1million Magic Millions Trophy over 2200m under 61kg showing his great will to win.

Widden Stud are delighted to offer Lot 134 at Magic Millions (pictured below), a chestnut colt by Stratum Star from well bred Northern Meteor mare Bisutti.

This stunning colt is a three-quarter brother to Absolute Flirt, a brilliant stakes-winning juvenile that has won over $200,000 in prizemoney and been twice Group III placed.
