Alligator Blood Makes Winning Look Easy

A red hot favourite for the upcoming $2million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas at the Gold Coast, exciting All Too Hard gelding Alligator Blood again showed his dominance with a commanding win in the Group III BRC Magic Millions Vo Rogue Plate (1400m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

He tracked the leaders for Ryan Maloney and when asked to extend gathered them in and was in cruise control in scoring a two length win.

“I thought he’d improved again and it was a pretty painless up the straight,” said David Vandyke.

“He’s adaptable. He can sit off them and take cover or put himself up there.

“We just want to be ready in two weeks time.”

All Too Hard has had three stakes-winners in three days! Looking at this performance, Alligator Blood is more than ready for his summer grand final and who knows what the autumn may hold for this super promising galloper.

A $55,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Baramul Stud draft for Ezybonds No 1 Syndicate, Alligator Blood has won seven of eight starts and over $939,000 in prizemoney.

Bred by Gerry Harvey, Alligator Blood is the last foal of Lake Superior, who died in 2017. She was an unraced half-sister by Encosta de Lago to stakes-winner Cantonese from the family of Australian Horse of the Year Typhoon Tracy.

Alligator Blood is a real rising star for Vinery Stud based All Too Hard and is one of five Australian stakes-winners for him this season.
