Aquis have high hopes for the first progeny of Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas winner Divine Prophet, whose weanlings sold exceptionally well this year fetching up to $205,000, an outstanding result from a $22,000 fee.

Divine ProphetBy proven sire of sires Choisir from a daughter of champion sire Encosta de Lago, Divine Prophet has pedigree and good looks backed up by formidable racetrack performance.

His career defining victory in the Caulfield Guineas put him in elite company with past winners of the race including The Autumn Sun, Press Statement, All Too Hard, Helmet, Starspangledbanner, Lonhro, Show A Heart and Redoute’s Choice.

He also won the prestigious Group III ATC Up and Coming Stakes, a race won by champion sires Snitzel, Fastnet Rock, Exceed And Excel, Testa Rossa and General Nediym.

Divine Prophet had a Timeform rating of 121, a figure superior to his peers Prized Icon (120), Russian Revolution (120) and Winning Rupert (120).

Divine Prophet has 12 entries for Magic Millions.

Kiss and Make UpBy champion sire More Than Ready (USA) from Champion 2YO and multiple Group I winning Redoute’s Choice mare Fashions Afield, Kiss and Make Up was always bred in the purple and as the only horse to defeat Champion 2YO Capitalist as a juvenile, he is a young stallion worthy of respect.

Kiss and Make Up won on debut and was then a brilliant winner at just his second start of the Group II ATC Todman Stakes, a race won by such luminaries as Yes Yes Yes, Vancouver, Pierro, Smart Missile, Written Tycoon, Charge Forward and Exceed And Excel.

Retired through injury after just one more start in the Golden Slipper, Kiss And Make Up made a huge impression in his brief career earning a Timeform rating of (120) making him the third highest rated 2YO of his year behind only Extreme Choice (123) and Capitalist (122) and ahead of Flying Artie (117), Prized Icon (116) and Astern (113)).

Kiss and Make Up will also have yearlings on sale in 2020.
