Three year old Uncle Mo (USA) filly Tobefair opened her account when saluting at Vaal on Thursday at her fourth start bringing a pedigree update to her half-sister headed to Karaka.

El Roca is the sire of the half-sister to Tobefair headed to KarakaStepping up to 1800m for the first time, the Paul Peter trained filly relished the longer trip to race away and win by more than two lengths as favourite.

A $25,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase from the Baramul stud draft for Kilimajaro Bloodstock, Tobefair is the first winner for Encosta de Lago mare Voice of an Angel, a grand-daughter of stakes-winner Fitting from the family of Golden Slipper winner Catbird.

Westbury Stud will offer the current yearling from Voice of an Angel, a filly by El Roca, as Lot 950 at the Karaka Book Two Sale.
