Winning Debut for Invincible Filly

Tara Madgwick - Saturday December 7

There was a competitive finish to the juvenile event at Rosehill on Saturday and it produced another debut winning two year-old for champion sire I Am Invincible.

Sancy does best in a tight finish - image Steve HartThe Peter and Paul Snowden trained filly had shown good promise in two recent trial wins and ran up to those performances with a tenacious half neck win in the 1100m dash.

She finished strongly from off the pace and had enough left at the finish to hang on for a determined win.

Retained to race by her breeders Canning Downs after passing in at Magic Millions, Sancy is the only living foal of Group III winning Street Boss (USA) mare Thiamandi who died in 2018.

Sancy is the fourth two year-old winner this season for Yarraman Park’s I am Invincible, who is already the leading sire of two year-olds this season by winners and earnings.
