Breednet - Sunday August 27

This is the Racenet preview and tip sheet for Sunday’s meeting at Port Augusta.

The track is rated a good 0 and the rail is in the true position.

Racenet’s summaries and tips for the meeting are.

Race 1 summary - DREAM OF GLORY was short here at her first look at the track last start, had every chance but will improve off that and will be up on the speed. Look for any money for those on debut, HUSSALEEN and OLYMPIC GESTURE. KOODA STAR will go forward but doubt she will be able to stick with the favourite at the turn.
Race 1 tips - 1st: DREAM OF GLORY (8), 2nd: HUSSALEEN (4), 3rd: OLYMPIC GESTURE (2), 4th: KOODA STAR (6).

Race 2 summary - No confidence at all here and very hard to find something to back. BERRY BABY was beaten as favourite here last time, beaten a long way too when up on the speed. STRONG AS is back in trip with the blinkers on, ALWAYS RED will get back and run on and LEMON ZEST may need further but may run a place.
Race 2 tips - 1st: BERRY BABY (8), 2nd: STRONG AS (6), 3rd: ALWAYS RED (7), 4th: LEMON ZEST (9).

Race 3 summary - KAPINETTE is an interesting runner, she resumed with a brilliant maiden win then struggle don the heavy last time. First go here, may have some upside. JUST PEGGY was a dominant winner here last time in an easier race. She will roll forward and may just run them of their feet the same as she did last time. She actually meets them better in the weights for that win. SCENIC MINT had every chance behind her last time as a well backed favourite, maps well again. SOCIAL LANE has no weight, maps to get a soft run.
Race 3 tips - 1st: KAPINETTE (4), 2nd: JUST PEGGY (2), 3rd: SCENIC MINT (3), 4th: SOCIAL LANE (6).

Race 4 summary - COPPER COAST RAIDA has the big weight to deal with, loves racing here and was in this grade her three back when bolting in. He maps well and should get a lovely run in transit. Has to give the field a lot of weight. SHEANNA has a poor overall record, she will get back but has been running on ok and has no weight on her back. AH OH WEY OH was a huge run here last time after missing the start hopelessly. Just needs to jump with them to be a good place chance. ORATINI will keep grinding away.
Race 4 tips - 1st: COPPER COAST RAIDA (1), 2nd: SHEANNA (6), 3rd: AY OH WHEY OH (5), 4th: ORATINI (2).

Race 5 summary - BETCHER was impressive last start. He has the wide gate and more weight but he has that good tactical speed that should land him in a nice position early either in front or outside the speed. REALLY EDGY has won here previously and drops in class. MAPPINGA QUEEN was good at huge odds last time, maps to get a soft run behind the leaders again. BIT SPENSIVE should settle closer.
Race 5 tips - 1st: BETCHER (1), 2nd: REALLY EDGY (6), 3rd: MAPPINGA QUEEN (9), 4th: BIT SPENSIVE (2).

Race 6 summary - SASSY JO is better than what she showed last start after clearly not handling the heavy track. She maps well and was good after tough run here previously. UMALUKA looks the leader, will need it soft in front. CONQUER THE MOMENT is honest enough and will keep grinding home. For fourth, GANGSTER'S RUN next best.
Race 6 tips - 1st: SASSY JO (2), 2nd: UMALUKA (1), 3rd: CONQUER THE MOMENT (7), 4th: GANGSTER'S RUN (3).

Race 7 summary - ONWARD was good here last time but was entitled to win with the run he had. He gets another chance here and will have the option to lead or take a sit off the inside draw. MASKING was a good maiden winner here last time for the new team, they may have found the secret to her. THE MOSHIRE is obviously better than what he showed last start, maps well again here. IRISH MAMBO is consistent and looks a good place chance again.
Race 7 tips - 1st: ONWARD (1), 2nd: MASKING (3), 3rd: THE MOSHIRE (4), 4th: IRISH MAMBO (5).
