Missrock finished strongly to win Saturday's Listed Carlyon Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley.

Missrock ($7) finished too well for longtime leader Heatherly ($2.15) to score by a neck with Lady Esprit ($41) a further 1 1/2-lengths away in third.

1st	MISSROCK	Ben Melham	I was pretty happy when we landed on the back of Heatherly and she relaxed for me. She gave me a good kick and I thought I was going to run a good second but she really dug in for me. It was good win.
2nd	HEATHERLY	Damian Lane	She ran well, probably like a horse that needed the run.
3rd	LADY ESPRIT	Craig Williams	Delighted with her run - she had the right run, we followed the winner and got the run in the straight and she got the stakes placing so owners are happy.
4th	KEEN ARRAY	Mark Zahra	Got a long way back but he ran really good.
5th	EL DIVINO	Michael Dee	His run was pretty good considering it was hard run all the way - he was at his top chasing all the way.
6th	JUNGLE EDGE	Kevin Forrester	Went super, he probably needs it a bit wetter.
7th	ONE MORE DAISY	Regan Bayliss	They were just a bit too good for her today.
8th	ORUJO	Stephen Baster	He ran ok in that class.
9th	SUNDAY ESCAPE	Dwayne Dunn	The barrier didn't help. The first three around the corner were the first three home but it's been like that all day.
10th	O'MALLEY	Craig Newitt	Just fair. I thought he might find the line a bit better than he did but nothing has been able to make ground all day. Softer track would have helped him too.
11th	PRUSSIAN VIXEN	Jake Noonan	She was out of her comfort zone which is unlike her at 1000m. They were a bit slick for her first-up but I'd have still liked to see her do a little bit more.
Last	GENERAL TRUCE	Noel Callow	I think he's being retired.
