Race 1 summary - GLAM GURU raced much better opposition at her first prep, watch for any money around for her resuming. LEORBIT trialled against the proven horses, was a little wayward and gets the blinkers on for raceday which weren't there in the trial. As always watch the betting for any firmers with the unraced brigade, ROCKET SOX has trialed ok. LEAD FOOT LACEY for the wider exotics.
Race 1 tips - 1st: GLAM GURU (7), 2nd: LEORBIT (1), 3rd: ROCKET SOX (12), 4th: LEAD FOOT LACEY (9).

Race 2 summary - Impossible to bet here with any confidence. SHERA KHAN was not far away in Benchmark 70 grade last time, she has the speed to lead all the way. MONDO MAGIC will also go forward but probably has to sit outside her, making the task all the more difficult. Watch for any money for those on debut, in particular MY THREE SONS and AXELROD.
Race 2 tips - 1st: SHERA KHAN (10), 2nd: MONDO MAGIC (5), 3rd: MY THREE SONS (6), 4th: AXELROD (2).

Race 3 summary - Willing to forgive the last start failure of KARLOVASI. This looks a more suitable assignment, he will roll forward and race better than he did second-up. CASHED was close up behind him last time he came to the races, maps to have the cold sit on him again. GUN CASE will get the suck run in on the rails, not sure that will be the best part of the track and USAIN DANE looks the only other winning hope.
Race 3 tips - 1st: KARLOVASI (2), 2nd: CASHED (3), 3rd: GUN CASE (1), 4th: USAIN DANE (4).

Race 4 summary - ANNAMAN looks better suited back in this grade and the wet track certainly won't hurt his chances. VINTAGE GROVE is a last start winner, he will likely get a cheap run back in the pack, will run on well and handles the wet. KIRONA has to rise in class again but is racing well, going for a hattrick of wins here. SAGAAB may add some value to the exotics, loved the way he ran through the line last start.
Race 4 tips - 1st: ANNAMAN (3), 2nd: VINTAGE GROVE (5), 3rd: KIRONA (9), 4th: SAGAAB (11).

Race 6 summary - BELLOMO gets the good claim, just failed here last time after hitting the lead in the straight. Looks suited back in trip. POUND STERLING has the wide draw to overcome, he will be trying to get to the rail first or the spot outside that. FULLY STOKED raced tougher competition last campaign and has won both his runs when resuming form the paddock. ILGATINO maps well to run another placing.
Race 6 tips - 1st: BELLOMO (2), 2nd: POUND STERLING (1), 3rd: FULLY STOKED (4), 4th: ILGATTINO (3).

Race 7 summary - BREAKER OF CHAINS is a perfect 2/2 on heavy tracks, is one of three Clarken runners that should be up on the speed. SO SKILLED was good before the spell, he may have more upside than most of these. Looks to map mid-field and the speed should be genuine enough for him to run on well. BEAU'S MY BOY will only improve on what he does here over further but was an eye-catcher at the trials recently. COUNTER SPIN next best.
Race 7 tips - 1st: BREAKER OF CHAINS (10), 2nd: SO SKILLED (9), 3rd: BEAU'S MY BOY (13), 4th: COUNTER SPIN (1).

Race 8 summary - BALF'S CHOICE is airborne at the moment. He has won four in a row and continues to step up whether it be in class or in weight. Hard to hold out again. BLACK SHEEP should be fully fit now getting to a distance he has won four times at. VICTORY DOWNS and OPTIMIZE for the wider exotics.
Race 8 tips - 1st: BALF'S CHOICE (2), 2nd: BLACK SHEEP (6), 3rd: VICTORY DOWNS (1), 4th: OPTIMIZE (11).
