30 years ago today a very special filly was born at Newhaven Park and today she celebrated a milestone birthday.




Burst turns 30!Bred and raced by Newhaven Park, Burst was the Champion 2YO of 1992 winning seven races and $2million highlighted by a memorable win in the 2YO Triple Crown – Golden Slipper, Sires Produce Stakes and Champagne Stakes.

She changed hands a number of times during her long stud career which produced 11 live foals, six of which raced for five winners.

While none of her winners were stakes-winners, three of her daughters have gone on to produces stakes-winners in Winter Burst, Be Bee and Group II winning sprinter Éclair Choice.
